Scottie Press is, as it says at the top of the page, Britain's longest-running community newspaper. I was a bit nervous about redesigning something with so much heritage and significance, but mostly I was just very pleased to be asked. I tried to bring back some of the best bits from the paper's history - small illustrations, a formal layout and a proper newspaper masthead - while remaining aware that this isn't a museum piece, it's a real newspaper which needs to be taken seriously and enjoyed by future generations.
