I've been dying to do something like this for ages. Every time I catch up with Norman from 'Cars and Coffee Liverpool' we talk about creating a car meet slash youtube channel slash podcast slash driving club based around the very photogenic streets of Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. Until recently, it had got no further than idle talk and 'Prestige Worldwide' levels of delusion, but last week we went for a wander around the Triangle with our mate Adam, who was as keen as us to make it happen. Add filmmaker Wes Storey into the mix and we've suddenly found ourselves with all the ingredients required to create something interesting.
We shot a very short and informal pilot episode, introducing the concept of Baltic Auto Club and giving Adam his first presenting role (he was talking about his own classic Mercedes, so he wasn't short of things to say). So far, the footage looks good, the photos are making us smile and the backdrops are as photogenic as we expected. Wes is currently editing this mini-episode, so I'll share it with you as soon as it's ready.
In the meantime, give Baltic Auto Club a follow on Instagram at @BalticAutoClub
