DESIGNING THE OFFICIAL PROGRAMME FOR EUROVISION 2023 IN LIVERPOOL

I was commissioned by my regular client, Wordscape, to design the official programme for Eurovision 2023, held in Liverpool as an alternative location to Kyiv. The organisers wanted to involve local businesses in creating the merchandise and publicity for the event, and Wordscape took on the task of publishing the programme. They asked me to design the programme, which required strict adherence to the branding guidelines provided by the agency responsible for the Eurovision identity.

The project presented several challenges, including tight deadlines, collaboration with stakeholders from multiple countries, and the need to deliver print-ready artwork that incorporated complex printing techniques like spot varnish and foil. Despite these challenges, the project was a success, and the Wordscape team received excellent feedback from the client, making it a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all involved.
