THE FRIENDS OF COUNTY
REVITALISING COUNTY ROAD THROUGH COMMUNITY & HERITAGE
I had the privilege of working with The Friends of County, a dedicated group of volunteers committed to the regeneration and growth of Liverpool's County Road area. Their mission is to honour local heritage while shaping a vibrant, forward-looking future for the community.
For this project, I crafted a brand identity deeply rooted in County Road’s history. Inspired by the iconic green and cream of old Merseyside Transport buses, the design reflects a strong local connection. At the heart of the brand is a distinctive twelve-sided ‘threepenny bit’ logo, symbolising good financial sense and the idea that “looking after the pennies means the pounds take care of themselves.”
This identity bridges past and future, capturing the resilience, pride, and ambition of County Road’s revitalisation efforts.
