A DAY IN THE LIFE
In late 2006 I spent 24 consecutive hours on the streets of Liverpool, taking photographs of my favourite bits of the city. I exhibited the photos at Almiro gallery in Waterloo, along with 24 original paintings, which I created using the photos as my starting point. It seemed like a great idea for the first four or five hours, then I began to question my own judgement. By 5am the next day, I was pretty sure I'd seen enough of town to last a lifetime.
