Week 5:

Week five is our last 'My Top Three' until the New Year, as we've really got to crack on with some actual work. So, to end the year in style we asked ProperMag's Neil Summers for his choices - he didn't let us down!

You can buy Neil's 'My Top Three' prints at KulaShop.etsy.com

1. adidas Beach

2. Nike Pre Montreal

3. New Balance x Concepts 999

Week 4:

We've had a bit of an enforced break from doing these, but we're back with three belters fromthe photographer Paul Mortimer. See some of his work here - thingandwhere.com

You can buy Paul's 'My Top Three' prints at KulaShop.etsy.com

1. Spring Court G2 Low

"I like these because there's no branding and they smell mint. They're proper chilled too."

2. Reebok NPC

"I was gonna say Workouts but I remember wearing these when I was like 10 and they had a metal Union Jack flag that could spin around. But then again, Workout are stupidly comfy. Either or."

3. adidas Handball 5 Plug

"These are pretty much the only three stripes I've kept from my late-teen, 'adidas only' phase. Sold plenty of others to help furnish my first house but kept two of these. They're sound."

Week 3:

This week's top three comes courtesy of Mark Smith, one half of the creative duo behind the brilliant ProperMag over in Manchester.

You can buy Mark's 'My Top Three' prints at KulaShop.etsy.com - remember to use the coupon code LacesOut2015 to get your 25% discount.

1. Nike Lava Dome

"I wear these more than I should. The ones pictured are pretty rare, a Steven Alan mashup with extra posh suede and dark red swoosh. As someone who can't shake sports footwear but is traipsing with trepidation towards his 37th year, these are grown up enough to get away with, yet still pretty contemporary, therefore ideal for chapter one of my midlife crisis."

2. Saucony x Penfield Shadow

"Similar to those Lava Dome, these are the type of robust shoes that'd guard against an autumnal tumble. Sturdy and stylish, but also just dead dead nice."

3. adidas SL80

"The mix of colour, the silhouette and the right mix between sport and street. I bloody love these, so much so that I bought an original pair that were knackered, nursed them back to health, then broke them again. I now stick to a more recent reissue."

Week 2:

This time we've hassled Sam Diss (Sabotage Times, Mundial, The Guardian) to give us his top three. This is what he gave us.

You can buy Sam's 'My Top Three' prints at KulaShop.etsy.com - remember to use the coupon code LacesOut2015 to get your 25% discount.

1. Reebok Classic Leather

2. Nike Cortez

3. adidas City Marathon PT

Week 1:

First up, it's Dan Sandison (Mundial/Hypebeast/Halcyon). We asked Dan to give us his all-time top three trainers - he kind of managed two and a half, but his third choice is such a belter that we've bent the rules a bit.

You can buy Dan's 'My Top Three' prints at KulaShop.etsy.com - remember to use the coupon code LacesOut2015 to get your 25% discount.
