At Kula we are open to “work for trade” if you either have the time or need a little help with your yoga passes. We also offer general discounts to help out during rough times for students. Whether it be trade or a general discount or a combination of both, you must ask and you may get a couple of questions, please don’t be offended if we ask you what you can afford or what the reason for the hardship is. It’s because of the students that the studio is open, we don’t want to turn any away and we don’t want to stop supporting the teachers at the same time.

The studio is new so there are plenty of opportunities for trade if you are willing to work. The work isn’t always fun, especially the work that needs to be done but it’s for a good cause. There will be times that your availability doesn’t match when we need work done, don’t worry, still let us know about your situation and ask us what we can work out. Working the desk, although needed is the toughest trade time to get due to the short amount of time to train people with software and familiarity with a broad spectrum of yoga classes, formats and information. If you would like to help with the desk and we ask if you have time to sweep or clean, please don’t be offended, it may be what we need the most.

Whatever you do, don’t just walk away if you really want to do yoga. Let us know so we can work with you, you are part of the community!
