Welcome to Kula, the community yoga studio for the Downtown, Avenues and University area in Salt Lake City. We are located just off of the trax stop at 4th south and 9th east. We are in the two story brick building with the large metal awening in the front on the second floor.

Our front desk in action and a peek at the funky floors. (Almost all non-Toxic)

We've designed the studio from the walls in to promote the greatest ease in the flow of students entering and exiting classes. The studio has two enterances, one on 4th south and one in the back of the building at the parking area. You can enter the rear parking area either from 4th south or from 3rd south, just a little past 8th east. There is a nice flow through atmosphere with the traffic and walking space areas in the studio.

The main hallway, just like the large studio has room for plenty. The shelving, cubby holes, hooks and benches are enough to acomidate quiet a few and if that's not enough their is space in the hallway by the three spacious bathrooms. These photo's of the hallway areas are from our fundraiser for Burma - Art show and from our grand opening celebration with Dave Stringer. We might not always have such beautifull art on the walls but we'll keep the energy as best we can.

In just a short period of time, Kula has been able to welcome in so many people and enjoy the energy of so many spirited folks, it's truly a blessing. The greatest blessing of the gatherings, wether they be for a workshop, an event or a regular weekly class, it's the gathering of the people and the sense of community that comes with gathering that is the gift.
